- ABOUT US
We have been dedicated to promoting and teaching the art of dance to the Kingston community since 1967. At our facility in historic Portsmouth Village, our professional staff continue to deliver dance education of the highest standard.
Whether a student is pursuing dance for recreation or professionally, KSD instructors provide sound technical training while encouraging fun and creative exploration. Dancers ages 3 to 80 enjoy an exciting and current curriculum.
We are proud to be Kingston’s only not-for-profit dance school. We cultivate a nurturing environment where students discover their unique and innate ability to dance. Students are welcome regardless of age, ethnicity, gender or ability, including those with special needs.
We are excited to be in our custom space at The Harold Harvey Centre, 52 Church Street until moving to our permanent home at The Tett Centre for Creativity and Learning in the late 2014. Find more information about this beautiful art centre at www.tettcentre.org
