Through this organization we help dancers who might not otherwise have the opportunity to be students due to financial reasons.

The Kingston Grand Theatre

The Kingston School of Dance hosts workshops with well-renowned dance companies in connection with their performances at the theatre and through our Young Dancers Program Instructor Melissa Mahady-Wilton. Dancers from all over Kingston have had the opportunity to be enriched by professional dancers while they are in the city to perform at The Kingston Grand Theatre. Our dance school has participated in festivities all over the city, including ArtFest, Culture Days, Art After Dark, Just Dance Soul Shakedown, Princess St. Promenade, Porch Jazz

The Kingston School of Dance has joined a new initiative in collaboration with the City Of Kingston Cultural Services Department called ‘Hip Hop in the Heights’ and has joined the Arts On The Rise movement in the city’s north end. Watch for more announcements on this on-going project!
