Dress Attire For Dance Classes

Ballet
Female Young Dancers (3 to 5 years old): Pink ballet leotard, ballet pink tights, pink ballet shoes
Female Youth and Senior Dancers (6 years old to adult): Black leotard, ballet pink tights, pink ballet shoes
Girls’ hair must be in a proper bun if long, and tied/pinned back tightly if shorter. Bangs must be away from the face.
Male Dancers (all ages): Black ballet leggings, fitted white tank or white t-shirt (no graphics please), black ballet shoes and white ankle socks
JazzBroadway Jazz
Dancers are required to wear solid-coloured, fitted stretch clothing (no graphics please), black Jazz shoes, beige dance tights for females.
Hair must be tied/pinned back and away from the face.
Contemporary / Acro
Dancers are required to wear foot undies, solid-coloured fitted stretch clothing (no graphics please), and beige convertible/footless dance tights for females.
Hair must be tied/pinned back and away from the face.
Hip-Hop / BBoyz
Dancers should wear non-marking street shoes, and can wear street clothing pieces (t-shirt, loose-fitting pants or basketball shorts) that are in good repair. No headgear (caps, bandanas etc.) to be worn during instruction time.

Tap
Tap dancers are required to wear proper tap shoes, solid-coloured fitted stretch top (no graphics please)fitted stretch shorts, and beige dance tights.

Latin Jazz
Dancers are required to wear solid-coloured (no graphics please) tops and a short skirt,  latin shoes and beige dance tights. Hair must be tied/pinned back and away from the face.
Afro-Cuban/World Beat
Skirts are provided by the school for adult dancers. Youth dancers can order skirts through Melissa Mahady Wilton. Dancers must wear solid-coloured fitted tops or bodysuits, and foot undies. Hair must be tied/pinned back and away from the face.
