TEACHING ASSISTANT PROGRAM

Application Process

All applicants must be enrolled in at least one KSD class and have a minimum of 3 years of dance experience.  To apply please send a copy of your cover letter and CV to out Interim Artistic Director, Amy Booth, at amy@kingstonschoolofdance.ca.  Considered candidates will contacted directly.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

- Assisting in demonstrating exercises/choreography
- Monitoring students
- Controlling music levels
- Taking notes for the instructor when needed

**The Teaching Assistant must enjoy working with children and youth.  Each instructor has different needs and expectations, This position requires someone who is confident, flexible to change and communicative. 

All TA’s are to report to the KSD Artistic Director, before your first session with each class. She will introduce you to the instructor and will let you know any final details before starting this role.
